Procedures And Guidelines For Motoring Assistance Services

| 1. |
A Cardholder who encounters a breakdown or accident is advised to contact our 24–hour Call Centre at 1-800-88-2929 for immediate assistance.
|
||||||||||||||||||||||
| 2. |
When calling for breakdown/accident assistance, the Cardholder is advised to provide the following basic information to the Call Centre officer:

| 3. |
The breakdown / accident assistance is available strictly on a "one card, one vehicle" basis. Only the Cardholder’s vehicle registered with the WIZARD privilege card programme will be entitled to the services provided.

| 4. |
Wizard’s panel of Auto Body Shops makes no guarantee no the availability of spare parts required for breakdown services. All parts replaced are at the expense of the Cardholder.
|
||||||||||||||||||||||
| 5. |
The Cardholder shall grant the Auto Body Shop’s mechanic free access to the vehicle for the purpose of investigating and carrying out repairs, without any obstruction from the Cardholder.

||||||||||||||||||||||
| 6. |
The Cardholder is advised to send his/her vehicle to the workshop immediately if the vehicle requires further attention after the Wizard Auto Body Shop has attended to the breakdown.

| 7. |
If a Cardholder‘s car key is left inside the car and no spare key is available, the Wizard Auto Body Shop will use its best endeavour to assist the Cardholder to unlock the car door. If the Auto Body Shop is unable to unlock the car, it will (but not obligated to) assist the Cardholder to engage a qualified locksmith to overcome the problem. All cost shall be borne by the Cardholder.

| 8. |
In the event that minor repairs are not possible and towing is required, towing is free for the first 60 km*. The Cardholder will be charged RM1.00 for every km or part thereof exceeding the 60 km limit. * Terms and conditions applicable

The cost of any battery, parts/spare parts, petrol supplied, toll charges incurred (if any) and any other service provider charges are to be borne by the Cardholder. All payments due are to be paid directly to the Auto Body Shop concerned.

| 9. |
The Cardholder may request the Wizard Auto Body Shop to tow his / her vehicle to a destination of his / her choice. Please note that the Auto Body Shop is obliged to tow the vehicle only once for each breakdown. For example, after the vehicle has been towed from the breakdown site to a workshop, any further towing of the same vehicle to any other destination shall be subject to the Auto Body Shop’s normal rates.

| 10. |
The Wizard Auto Body Shop is not obligated to send the Cardholder and his / her passenger(s) to any destination after attending to a breakdown call.

||||||||||||||||||||||
| 11. |
The Cardholder is solely responsible for any valuable items damaged or lost from his/ her vehicle. The Cardholder is advised to check the contents and conditions of the car before and after the car has been towed and to accompany Auto Body Shop operator while the vehicle is being towed.

||||||||||||||||||||||
| 12. |
The Cardholder or his/her representative must be at the breakdown or accident site. The Wizard Auto Body Shop operator may leave without attending to the vehicle after waiting at the site for 15 minutes. |

| 13. |
Charges for towing will be different at hill resorts e.g. Genting Highland, Cameron Highland, Fraser's Hill and etc. (Terms & Conditions apply)

| 14. |
The Cardholder should carry his / her Wizard card at all times. The Wizard card MUST be produced for verification by the Wizard Auto Body Shop before any service is rendered.

| 15. |
The Cardholder is encouraged to place the Wizard road tax sticker on the front windscreen.
|
||||||||||||||||||||||
|
EXCEPTIONS
|
|||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Breakdown / Accident assistance services are not available in the following circumstances:
|
|||||||||||||||||||||||
| 1. |
commercial vehicles;
|
||||||||||||||||||||||
| 2. |
motor cycles;
|
||||||||||||||||||||||
| 3. |
where the vehicle has no engine, transmission, tyres or the necessary parts to facilitate the towing of the vehicle; or where the vehicle has previously been damaged, broken down and abandoned or left in neglect;
|
||||||||||||||||||||||
| 4. |
where the vehicle is located in a remote area or a non-gazetted road such as in estates, plantations, jungle or forest;
|
||||||||||||||||||||||
| 5. |
where the vehicle has been modified and such modification is not in accordance with the laws and regulations pertaining thereto;
|
||||||||||||||||||||||
| 6. |
where the vehicle was or is being used for any unlawful and illegal purpose;
|
||||||||||||||||||||||
| 7. |
where vehicle is located on an island (except for Penang and Langkawi);
|
||||||||||||||||||||||
| 8. |
where the vehicle is carrying more passengers than its designed capacity or used in any manner contrary to the manufacturer’s specifications including the use of the vehicle on terrain that is not suited to the motor vehicle.
